Jharkhand Literary Meet
Gameplan launched the Jharkhand Literary Meet in 2017 as we felt the State needed a festival that would showcase its rich, diverse yet under-represented literature and culture.
What is the Jharkhand Literary Meet?
- An event that brings the best of writers and artistes to Jharkhand and opens Jharkhand to a wider audience
- A platform for national and international authors to meet the local talent of Jharkhand
- A literary meet that has become an integral part of Jharkhand’s annual calendar
The festival has hosted eminent personalities from across India such as Ruskin Bond, Uday Prakash, Harivansh Narayan Singh, Sharmila Tagore, Mark Tully, Jairam Ramesh, Devdutt Pattanaik, Mahadev Toppo and Rekha Bhardwaj. The last edition took place in 2024.
