What is the Bhubaneswar Literary Meet?
- An endeavour to take Odisha to a wider global audience and also to bring the world to Odisha
- A platform for national and international authors to meet the local talent of Odisha
- A forging of international connections with the local cultural ethos
The Bhubaneswar Literary Meet has drawn premier authors and speakers from across India and the world. We have hosted eminent delegates such as Manoj Das, Ruskin Bond, Jayanta Mahapatra, Nayantara Sehgal, Kiran Nagarkar, Sharmila Tagore, Lord Meghnad Desai, Ileana Citaristi, Mark Tully, Nandita Das, Barkha Dutt and William Dalrymple, amongst others. The last edition took place in 2023.
