ICC World Cup
We have been associated with the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 2002 regarding the field signage but in 2016 we took the relationship one step forward with instadia sponsorship.
We have also achieved two other milestones for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.
We were responsible for the hospitality of three zones. We proudly showcased two-view carpets for the first time in a cricket game in India, and that too in the opening game of the World Cup. This is a revolutionary technology that was developed and patented by Amayse, a company headquartered in Denmark. All the global partners of ICC had their branding using this technology throughout this World Cup like MRF, Aramco, Mastercard, Booking.com, and IndusInd Bank.
Gameplan was also proud to facilitate ‘Cricket’s Greatest Canvas’, a collaboration between ICC and renowned artist, Padma Shree Paresh Maity. A total of 10 paintings were created at the 10 venues of the Cricket World Cup, out of which four were done live at the stadiums.
The last artwork created on the final match day was displayed at the stadium and was signed by the captain of the winning team, Pat Cummins (Australia).
