MEDIA SYNDICATION

Print Media

There is little doubt that the sports section is the most widely read part of a newspaper. Gameplan’s syndicated columns, written by eminent players from most major sports are avidly followed and discussed. Consequently, advertising space within the column is highly valued as being impossible to miss. Content development for newspapers, magazines and the internet is yet another aspect of Gameplan’s partnership with the media to promote sports. Sportspersons and syndication by Gameplan have become a familiar part of the print media in India, as well as in Bangladesh and West Asia. Apart from cricket we have syndicated columns for sports as varied as tennis, rugby, F1 motor racing, soccer, golf, badminton and hockey.

Electronic Media

Gameplan has also syndicated television capsules, featuring top players, in association with the electronic media. Having dealt with all electronic media in India, Gameplan has acquired an excellent media base, which today guarantees extensive coverage for any event/project that it undertakes.

Gameplan introduced providing content for the Indian electronic media in September-October 2003, when the New Zealand cricket team toured India and it all started with Black Caps’ skipper Stephen Fleming. The ‘voice capsules’, as they are called, proved a huge success, encouraging us to repeat them for all future series with players like Imran Khan, Glenn McGrath, Javed Miandad, Ricky Ponting, Mike Hussey, Harbhajan Singh, Jacques Kallis, Kumar Sangakkara, Shaun Pollock, John Buchanan, Shoaib Akhtar, Harbhajan Singh, Wasim Akram, Ramiz Raja, and Bob Woolmer. Sponsors gained excellent mileage through the tag and super accompanying each capsule on widely watched channels such as NDTV, Headlines Today, Times Now, Star News and Zee News.

We have also syndicated our columns on the Internet, thus reaching a worldwide readership.
